Valletta Contemporary is a new arts centre, run by the not-for-profit META Foundation, specialising in the contemporary arts, presently being developed in Valletta and scheduled to open in June 2018. The brain child of international artist Norbert Francis Attard, Valletta Contemporary aims to be a world-class brand, with international collaborations of the highest quality.
Valletta Contemporary is presently developing an ambitious strategic plan focusing on the creation and development of a corporate image. As part of its structured approach, Valletta Contemporary is seeking to appoint a Graphic / Web Designer to help develop and manage its corporate image and brand.
The Graphic / Web Designer will work with the Board of Administrators to develop: Valletta Contemporary logo and develop identity systems in sync with our long-term vision and big-picture strategy, anything that relates to print and packaging from stationary to billboards, to boxes and everywhere in-between, develop a web site using friendly content management system. Our ideal candidate will be exposed in graphic design and web design and have an interest in branding and must be able to work within budget.
Skills, experience and qualifications
- Expert knowledge of modern software tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and more.
- Experience designing and building responsive websites and applications using modern web-standards.
- Must be highly creative and original, to think outside the box, strong understanding of UX principles, the capacity to turn visualisations into comprehensive designs.
- Needs to show a Portfolio of works and projects.
